The lyrics bring to mind two thoughts. A woman I once had feelings for and in a way I still care about. We are both still living in this lifetime but the years apart make it seem like a different lifetime. The second thought is imagining characters from my favorite video game meeting in a different lifetime but the bond to each other remains the same.
