It's a funny idea to dedicate an entire EP to the exhaust gas pollution of a diesel model introduced by Volkswagen some decades ago. While the tracks are designed to reflect a horror story, the music is not really frightening, however. Rather, it's quite pleasant and harmonic upbeat synthwave with a nice 80's touch. This album was on my wishlist already for too much time. Thanks to Vincenzo Salvia's "Black Friday" promotion, I was reminded of this inadequate fact, and addressed it immediately.

A fun single from Android Automatic. "City Heat" is explosive disco with an outrun pace, an anthemic action tone, and guitar synth accents, including a rapid-fire solo near the middle of the track. It's dangerous while driving. "Last Kiss" is a gentler, slower track whose percussive claps feel so distant that they sound like snapping fingers. The thing that really grabs me about "Last Kiss" is the higher-pitched synth line, which along with the astral chords gives the track a very dreamy feel.
